Hi! I'm Xandra.

I'm 25, an army wife, and I love having pen pals! My husband have just relocated, so I know I'm going to wait to try to sign up for flat mail until we are a little bit more settled! In the meantime, I am eager to send some cool type 1 emails out!

I have a degree from Eastern Michigan University in Art History and Japanese. I am currently in a grad school program to recieve my Masters in Museum Studies! My dream job is to work in an art museum one day as a curator.

I love coffee, Animal Crossing, reading, and art journaling. I also love plants and any cute animals! I've worked in the coffee industry on and off for about 5 years, and I can make a mean latte. I'm going to keep an eye out for coffee swaps, even if they're just an email swap talking about coffee favorites. I'm a practicing Jewish woman, and will hopefully find Jewish swaps too!

My husband and I are big into camping and hiking. My goal one day is to travel to every single national park in the US. So far I think I've hit 8? I know it's not a lot, but baby steps!

I'm so excited to see what Swap-Bot has in store for me in 2020!

I love anything indie, folk or "campy"! Anything that I would be happy listening to beside a campfire! I used to be really into metal, and sometimes I'll get a hankering for that. Most activities I do in a day though revolve around indie related things though. :)

Books!!! Books are my favorite thing in the world. I love holding and smelling them (lol). I love the feeling of closing a book knowing that I've completed it! I'm in a book club called the Horrorble Book Club. Sometimes we write reviews. I've linked the site so you can follow along with me!:

My goal for 2020 is to read 50 books, but I know I'm slow at them right now because of the moving stress I'm under! Sometimes it's just easier for me to scroll through social media, even though my heart aches for me to be deep in a book.

Honestly, I love documentaries. And horror movies. But because of streaming platforms, I've been spending most of my time watching home improvement TV shows instead hahaha.

Some of my favorites though, in no particular order: The Princess Bride, Samsara, 13 Going on 30, Goodnight Mommy, Legally Blonde, House of 1000 Corpses, Corpse Bride

I don't care what people say, Cats (2019) was the best worst movie to have ever been made, lol!!

Broad City, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Portlandia, things like that are so fun to me! I love situational short clip comedies like that.

I also like I said in "favorite movies", have an obsession with home improvement shows. Not only do I watch too many of those, but I love the house tour shows too, hehe.

Also on the list, any shows surrounding food? Love them. Nailed It on Netflix is soooo funny to me!

I've been loving art journaling lately! I also like working with clay and cross-stitching. Hoping to pick up some embroidery stuff soon too!
