NOVEMBER 2022 UPDATE: CURRENT RATINGS: I appreciate your patience ! Mail has been returned back to me mailed over a week later multiple times ! I have been in contact with the post office about this. Please contact me if you are noticing any issues before rating. My post office is small and rural. They are having staffing shortages. All of my swaps are sent and marked on time. I have been on Swapbot for many years, and all of my swaps have been received.

Postmaster General Louis DeJoy confirmed over the weekend that the United States Postal Service (USPS) is changing its standard timeframe for delivering first-class letters, flat envelopes, and items like magazines.

Delivery is expected to go from a one-to-three-day window to a one-to-five-day window for mail sent within the contiguous United States.

With states west of the Rockies, Florida, and southern Texas most likely to see the worst delays.

Postage Rate Increase.55 to .58 First class mail letter (1oz) the end of the month.

Also- --I don't like having to say this, but I am seeing a lot of 3s and 1s going out lately when they shouldn't be. If you check the side panel - View participant, you can see when your partner says they sent things.-- From there add 8 weeks...YES, 8 weeks. The USPS has admitted to slowing down flat rate mail and upping the costs of packages.

QUICK NOTE ON MY CURRENT LOWER RATINGS: Mail has been returned back to me over a week later multiple times. I have been in contact with the post office about this. They are experiencing staffing shortages in my small rural town due to covid. All of my swaps have been received and I have contacted my partners .

THE FIRST SWAP WAS SENT TWICE, EACH WITH EXTRA ITEMS. SHE NEVER RESPONED OR CHANGED MY RATING. THAT WAS OVER 2 YEARS AGO.

MY OTHER RATING WAS DUE TO AN UNEXPECTED HOSPITILIZATION: SHE RECIEVED HER ITEMS ON TIME AS WELL, AND STILL LEFT A LOW RATING. SEE BELOW
