I enjoy reading, writing, music, camping, fishing, and walking the beach. I have an older sister that has MS and she is my top priority. I have been taking care of her since I was 23- I'll be 52 in April.Needless to say, I don't have much time for making friends and going out for girls night like I used to before she got really bad but it's o.k. I have my social time at work and my coffee clutch at Cumberland Farms in the morning and of course my on-line friends and pen pals. I also have the best and most understanding man any woman could ask for! He's my true North in the storm I call my life and he always guides me home to my safe port- his loving embrace. May sound gushy but it's so true. I am one lucky woman!

Just so everyone knows, I am NOT an artist. I like swapping so I can learn different art forms and those that work well for me. All my swaps are sent on time and I rate the day after I receive because I don't have internet at home and do it from work.

My favorite colors are teal, blue-green & earth tones. My favorite flowers are daisies. I love folk art, vintage items, country themes, primitive art, crock pot recipes, craft patterns and trying new things.

I collect postcards, quotes,books, and dust in the winter-I hate to be cold! I can't pass up cute stickers, envelopes with designs, and colored pens.

The only thing I can think of that I dislike is white shirts/sweatshirts and black licorice.

I love animals, serene pictures, lists, crafts, stamped x-stitch, cooking/baking, birdwatching,swapping, art journal pages, collage,felt projects and my penpals.

I like working with felt, making ornaments, bridal bouquets, up cycling, centerpieces, wreaths and door banners for the holidays. I would love to try Dottee Dolls and practice with watercolors. I'm hoping for a scroll saw for Christmas. :O)

I like Henry David Thoreau, Steinbeck, George Orwell, Howard Fast and too many others to mention. For easy reading, I like Elin Hilderbrand, Anita Shreve, James Patterson and again, too many others to mention. I also like my magazines- Birds & Blooms, Create & Decorate, Country Living, Womans World and Psychology Today.
