I live in Toronto, Canada. I live my life in a constant state of gratitude. I believe that people are essentially good and I love to meet new people and hear about their lives and learn from them and with them.

Here are a few things you might want to know about me

a) I have a bit of an obsession with the Young and the Restless. I've been watching it everyday for over 20 years.

b) I love love love snail mail and writing letters.

c) I always carry a small note book with me and love to make to do lists and cross things off of them.

d) I think libraries are tres cool and I read an average of 1-2 books a week.

e) I used to be a professional singer. Now I sing in the shower A LOT. I love getting mixed CDs from people with the favorite songs on them.

f) I think giraffes are stunningly beautiful.

g) I can't walk past a Dollar Store of any kind without going in...

h) I heart baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays

I spend my time... a) At work. I manage about 300 volunteers for a nonprofit agency on Toronto working with people with developmental disabilities. It is meaningful and rewarding and so fulfilling!

b) With my nose in a book.

c) Surrounded with people that I love and admire doing things I enjoy like watching movies, making jewelry, going for walks, talking about life and love and friendship, listening to music and being thankful.

Favorite book of 2009 is Lawrence Hills "The Book of Negroes"

Favorite book of 2010 so far is Andrew Davidson's "The Gargoyle"
