I'm a new mum with a gorgeous little girl. My husband and i have a little cottage on a smallhold in the country. I'm a doctor, so I xont have nearly enough time to do all the things i love, but i do try to squeeze them in. I love to read, i love the classics but i have been caught reading modern crime thrillers. I dont watch much tv but when i do i love British comedy and thrillers/horrors. I love to craft. I knit, i sew and I'll pretty much give anything a go craft wise (except quilling...far too much work). I love to sew bags/purses and recently i also started to sew nappies (i'm British, Americans would say diapers). I love pretty fabrics and frills and then on the opposite side of my personality I love Japanese fabrics and Japanese design,especially their use lots of natural colours and clean shapes. Oh i almost forgot to mention.... I absolutely adore cows.... i even converted my fridge to look like one (within the compromise outlines my husband laid out)

I love most genres of music except modern hip-hop and R&B. I enjoy soulful ballads of James Blunt, punky attitude of Pink, catchy tunes of Abba and many many more like it. My all-time favourite band is Queen... there is nothing like it in the world.

My favourite book of all is probably 'Silas Marner' by George Elliot. I think its an incredibly look at the human soul, the lows to which it can sink, what suffering does to a person and the ability we all have within us to change if we are only given a second chance.

How can i choose?I adore knitting and i can knit while i do other things, which is a benifit, plus knitting produces useful items of clothing. However, i love to sew... i'm not fantastic, mainly because i am lazy and dont measure correctly etc, but I love making bags and trying out new things, copying things i see with my own improvements.
