Hi there! My name is Jen and I am a thirty-four year old wife and a mother of three great kids! I am mainly a SAHM and I love being around for my kids every day and being a part of their daily activities! I just recently got a part-time job at our local post-offce! I guess they thought I was there so often I might as well be paid for it! Haha!! I have been married for 13 1/2 years now and am still completly in love with my husband! I have 2 boys (11 and 7) and 1 girl (9) and they are GREAT kids! I live in a small community in Alberta, Canada.

My main passions are quilting, crocheting, knitting, sewing, felt crafts, reading, and photography!

Things that make me most happy in my 'crafting' are beautiful fabric, soft and yummy coloured yarn, special ribbons, buttons and PINCUSHIONS!

I promise you that I will always send swaps. There has never been a time when I did not send so if you do not received something from me in a decent time from when I clicked sent - PLEASE PM me and we will figure out what's going on! I take swapping seriously and take a lot of time and care for each of my partners! :)

Music I love is 80s, Chicago, Brian Adams, I love some country - the more modern stuff, I love worship music - Brian Doerken, Nicole Nordemen, Michale W Smith.

I LOVE TO READ! When I read I get completely absorbed in the the book's world! It is such an escape for me! I love books where the character development is a huge focus. I love being to remember a character long after I''ve finished a book and wonder what they would be up to now!

Some of my favorite books are: Redeeming Love, Infidel, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Kite Runner, Friday Night Knitting Club, A Fine Balance, Eat, Pray, Love, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Hiding Place, anything by Maeuve Binchy, Jane Austen and Francine Rivers.

I love historical fiction, romance, true stories and biographies.

I have a true love for classic/vintage children's books.

I'd have to say that my favorite children's series is Anne of Green Gables. I am very much like Anne with an "e"! I am dramatic, passionate, and have always longed for a "bosom friend".

I also love the Little House on the Prairie series, I have introduced them to my daughter who is 9 and is reading my own personal book from when I was a little girl! I love the innocence of that time in history as well and the family values they share.

The Narnia Series, as well as Lord of the Rings are also classic reads that I try and read each year. I also love the tried and true favorites of Winnie The Pooh, Beatrix Potter, Madeline, Diary of Anne Frank, The Little Princess, Little Woman, The Secret Garden, Charlotte's Web Robert Dahl, and Beverly Clearly (just to list a few!)

I just have a passion for beautifully written books with stories that touch my heart and move my soul!

Movies I love are Anne of Green Gables, Moulin Rouge, The Notebook, Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility, The Karate Kid, Beaches, My Fair Lady, Lord of the Rings.

On TV I love to watch The Amazing Race, Brothers and Sisters, House, The Office, Project Runway, and How I met you Mother, Little House on the Prairie, and I still watch all the old reruns of Friends and Seinfeld!

I love quilting, sewing all different kinds of things but especially bags, knitting, crochet, granny squares, felt items.

• Colours: Red, Red & White together, pink, green, pale yellow, robins egg blue, B&W, chocolate brown, cream, white, vintage colours.

• Fabric Patterns - I love modern fabric designers like Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner, Heather Bailey, Tina Givens, Robert Kaufman, shabby chic, B&W, tiny florals, pailsey, stripes, LOVE LOVE LOVE polka-dots, japanese import, and gingham.

• I love vintage items, either the real thing or 'inspired by vintage'.

• I love little things like buttons, beads, magnets, bookmarks, sewing notions, crochet & knitting accessories, fun ribbons, keychains, embelishments, etc!

• I love FABRIC and RIBBONS! , felted things, embroidery, quilted items, knitted or crochet items!

• I love birds, owls, ladybugs, cupcakes, little handmade cute stuffies, fat quarters, mushrooms, cherries, yo yos, special pin cushions, granny squares, notecards, stationary, handmade bags and APRONS.

• Things I collect are: Cute pincushions, special pincusion pins, aprons, ribbon, buttons, fabric, notebooks, notecards, cotton yarn for dishcloths, and books.

Really I am pretty easy - I just love that someone took the care to think of me and pick something out for me from their heart!

Skulls, pagan items (ie. wicca), new age items, dark chocolate, white chocolate.

Do not like the colours: orange, forest green, burgundy and purple.
