Hi y'all! My name is Jessica, I'm 30 years old, and I recently moved to west Texas with my husband after having lived in New York for the past 12 years.

We have no children, but we do have lots of furbabies! One pittie named Duchess and 6 cats. To all future partners with pet allergies, no worries! We jokingly say our cats have their own house; it's a "cattery" we built with hopes of one day expanding so that we can open a sanctuary for all animals needing a home. Their names are Franny, Juliana, Roxi, Daisy, Lil G (funny story - we've been calling her Lil G for so long that we forgot what the G stands for! lol!), and Slick. We are animal people, for sure.

Though I now live in Texas, I grew up all over the country. Both my parents were in the military; I've lived in various parts of Texas, various parts of Washington, various parts of California, Louisiana, Rhode Island, and of course New York. I love being able to see our beautiful country, and hope to be able to travel the world one day. Rhode Island was my favorite! My dream destination is Costa Rica.

I have three siblings; one older brother and two younger sisters, both of whom are service women! One is Air Force Guard, and the other Army. I have two nieces and one nephew.

My heart belongs in the medical field where I worked as a CNA, but currently I work in estate sales and storage units. I love it! You never know what you're going to find! I'm also a licensed esthetician and certified make up artist.

I LOVE cooking and baking. I love trying new things.

I am a newbie here, but I promise to do my best! :)

I've been crafting and journaling for as long as I can remember. My mom used to scrapbook when I was a kid and I'm pretty sure that's where my love of crafting came from!

I love any and ALL forms of crafting, but my favorite is painting with my favorite medium being watercolor. I also love paper crafts, especially making my own envelopes.

Currently, I'm trying to branch out and try other types of projects. Right now I'm really into making garden/yard art.

I also love to draw, but I must admit I'm not very good lol. One day I'll get there!

I used to be really into penpals, and I hope to start that up again. It's so nice getting things in the mail that isn't just bills.

CATS. I'm crazy about cats. I am THAT woman.

I'm really not too picky, but I very much dislike dark chocolate and tea!

Here's another funny story - I am TERRIFIED of ladybugs! I cannot explain why, they just give me the heebie jeebies. However, if you send me anything with ladybugs on it I promise to love it anyway :)

I am a true crime JUNKIE. It's almost all I read these days. My favorite true crime authors are Robert Keller and Jason Neal. I've read almost all of their books.

I also love Stephen King. His book "On Writing" has always been my inspiration.

Aside from true crime, I love thrillers, mysteries, horror, and historical fiction. I enjoy non-fiction books having to do with various wars, my 'favorite' being the Civil War. I do not like romance.
