I've only recently started trying out crafty things. I've made a few pieces of clothing, done a few little cross-stitch projects, knitting, but mostly papercraft. Looking forward to getting ideas from my swap packages.

I'm addicted to True Blood. Also keen on Bones, Glee, Community, Spooks, Dr Who and Mad Men. Old favourites are Battlestar Galactica, Buffy, Firefly, The West Wing, Gilmore Girls, Flight of the Conchords. A bit of Grand Designs and QI also go down a treat. And BBC-esque period dramas are the best. :-)

I've looked through a few profiles and there are lots of very detailed lists of what people like in their crafts, but I'm finding it hard to put into words! I guess:

Vintage ephemera (especially things like sheet music, postcards, print ads, anything that tells a story about who made it)

I'm obsessed with my typewriter, and words in general. Beautiful typography.

Imperfect photos, lomography style.

Colour-wise, I prefer muted tones to bright colours, but the latter are still very much appreciated. Unless they're pink.

Sometimes I love nothing more than some kraft paper and twine.

I do love pretty vintage prints and patterns. Think Horrockses Fashions prints from the 40s and 50s, or small florals never go astray.

That being said, I'm happy to receive anything.

I'm not really into really cutesy/kawaii stuff. I prefer faded, vintage and antique to bright, glittery and pink.

I'm also not religious, so please don't send me anything faith-related.
