Hey y'all!

My name is Lauren Costin and I am a graphic designer from Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Visualization Sciences (animation) and a minor in Business and I don't use that degree at all really. I just stick to graphic design which I mostly picked up on my own and the help of a very nice professor! Whoops. But my new job is pretty great! I just moved closer to home to be with my sister before she graduates and moves away and I am working for a major craft company, so perks!!

I spend to much time at Target, especially in the One-Spot. I spend most of my paycheck on pens from Japan and bulk orders of stickers from China. I'm so responsible haha If I can color with it or stick it in a journal, I am on board!

I think that will start as a brief overview on me! Cannot wait to start this whole swapping adventure :)

I absolutely love all things crafty! Right now my Hobonichi, Midoris and Filofax are my favorite things. I also just got an Instax Mini 8 poloraid-type camera and it has been so fun to use so far. I am self-diagnosed hoarder so I am drowning in cute post-it notes, pens, stickers and washi I would love to send and exchange.

I love:

• ANYTHING Japanese/Korean Kawaii! Literally anything. Right now I am building my collection so I don't have an over abundance of any one thing yet.

• Stickers!! (no "teacher A+ type stickers)

• Washi Tape (thin, thick, patterned, plain, I love it all)

• Pens (brush, gel, markers, any writing utensil really)

• Stationary (Paper pads, sheets, envelopes)

• Postcards (any and all!)

• Paper (scrap, patterned, cut outs)

• Sticky Notes (square, animal shaped, page flags)

• Stamps (the ink kind, not the mailing kind!)

• LITERALLY anything Japanese or Korean really

• Magazine pages for collaging

• Anything from the Target One Spot (well as of this moment I own everything from the One Spot with the exception of the page flags so I am pretty stocked)

• Christmas ornaments

• Animal Socks

• Anime & Manga

• Gummy Bears

• Video Games (RPGs mostly)

• Knick knacks (anything little and fun I can put on my desk, legos, cats, little fun things)

• Your favorite book! (I want to know what you like!)

• Tote bags

• Korean beauty products (I just found a FaceShop near my work so I cannot wait to go in and come with with a whole new beauty routine!)

I love to read. An insane amount. Being grounded when I was younger involved taking my books away. Right now I am reading all of Haruki Murakami's books, the Wheel of Time series, Ready Player One, Typography Sketchbooks, with more being added to the list weekly!

Gotta love movies too! Hayao Miyazaki's films are my all time favorites and inspired me to purse art as a career. Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, and From Up on Poppy Hill are my favorites. I love superhero and action movies as well. Star Wars. Star Wars. Star Wars! Romance movies, not so much. Unless my friends and I are watching terrible Lifetime movies for fun!

I love to travel and have been all over the US, the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, England, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, the Czech Republic, Austria, and I just got back from Australia! I studied abroad in Germany when I was 20 and I cannot wait to go back again someday.

• I am not a fan of the color pink or purple (unless Kawaii related), but I love blue and maroon!

• Super froo froo frilly things aren't my cup of tea either

• Chocolate and peanut butter together. When they are separate, I am all for it but I do not like them together
