Pretty Woman, Phatom of the Opera, Sound of Music etc.

I live in Chesterfield, Michigan with my husband. I have four grown children and eight grandchildren ages 17 to 2 they keep me very busy!!!! I work at United States Post Office I have been a mail carrier for 24 years I am preparing to retire in about 18 months. Looking forward to the new phase of my life!!! I spend a lot of time with my only daughter Sarah I am so blessed! The grand kids all belong to my three boys! Needless to say Aunt Sarah is the best Aunt in the world! I'm on a journey to losing weight I have been going to Weight Watchers my goal is to work for them when I reach my goal! I try very hard to eat well and take care of myself. It is important to me to set an example to my family. Especially my grand kids. They enjoy cooking healthy meals with me.

I like to crochet, I got a sewing machine for my birthday last year. I would like to start quilting. I like to do crafts. I do them with the grandkids. I like to scrap-book. I like to knit, cross-stitch. I like stamping any kind of stampers. I tried stained glass but it is very expensive so that one is on hold!!! I like to make homemade gifts just recently I made a money pizza for my grandsons 16th birthday it was fun.

I like to bake cookies, like to find new recipes. I like to walk my grandson and like to find new parks to go too. I like to watch soap operas, when I'm home. I like to send cards to people for no special reason the thought it might brighten their day. I like to watch and go to baseball games!! Detroit Tigers are our team they are really fun to watch. Going to my grand kids games is my passion we have baseball and soccer!!! I just started doing Yoga with my daughter I really enjoyed it.

I like candles, salt and pepper shakers (my fun thing to collect) recycle grocery bags really trying to go green, buttons, ribbon, stickers, pens, sticky note pads, recipes, cookbooks, like low calorie recipes{ any weight watchers recipes } magazines, coffee cups, teapots and tea cups, dark chocolate, swedish fish, hand lotions, filp flops(size 9 ) angels, lapel pins, bracelets, sewing notions(thread,needles, pin cushions etc.) Devotion books, butterflies, hearts, lapel pins, dish towels, book marks, stamping stuff, gel pens, mechanical pencils, journals. Also I love turtles!,,,, (interesting fact the reason why turtles live so long they breath really slow and are relaxed something we all need to practice)

I love Nicholas Sparks, Devotion Books, Magazines love to get recipes and good living ideas from them. Love love cook books of all kinds!!!

Being a mail carrier for many years I have collected miniature mail trucks from different countries and many other things and pictures related to the postal service. Just lately I have been taking pictures of post offices in my state. If anybody wishes to send me a picture of their post offices where they live I would love it!
