April 25, 2017 UPDATING finally (found 10 minutes)

SO I am now a mother of 5 wonderful children 4 girls and one LUCKY or UNLUCKY (depending on how you look at it ) Boy ... My two oldest daughters do not live at home anymore One is a mother of a wonderful grandson and doing well ... the other off to college ... which leaves me 3 at home which I have chosen to homeschool ... Victoria born 2008 Carlyn born 2000, and Chase born 2015 ... Bundles of JOY but keep me very busy ... I have been away from swapping for about 3 years in that , having more children, and moving from the city to the country where we have a small hobby farm , we raise chickens, hens, ducks, goats, bunnies, cats and one dog... we have a half acre garden. We grow as many vegetables as we can so I can things for use to eat clean as can be. I make owe own salsa, pasta sauce, caned tomatoes, creamy corn, of course pickles, ketchup, relish, bean salad, enough to last the winter as so I don't need the grocery store... I WOULD LOVE ANY RECIEPES FOR CANNING .... We also make enough pumpkin seeds to last the winter and TRY not to eat many potato chip TRY ... not so successful my biggest weakness ...

SO SWAPPING I missed it a lot BUT have since figured out how to Swap (aka CRAFT) and turn it into a big geography lesson for the kiddies ,,, Yah me ... two birds one stone as to say ... So we always craft together I am very lucky my girls both share my crafty gene ... so we have art classes very often. BUT now we swap our crafts with others STUDY where we send it to and where we receive it from ... WE look on the map to see the distance from home, the languages spoken, the type of climate , the time changes, different cultures, I really is a learning time for all of us... The kids really look forward to mail time for if we get mail they get away from reading and math to explore the world ...

So Crafting and Swapping we LIKE

I have started a KIDS swap ATC so they can too .. . WE love to alter anything really ..

we stamp ( cards and scrapbook )

we collect postage stamp and coins would love personal TRADES ... PLEASE Message ...

we love CANDIES lol (they made me put that)

I would love lesson sheets worksheets and such

we also collect postcards and swap in post crossing as well

Oh and of course Stickers ...

New to our collection Playing cards ( WE LOVE the Jokers preferably)

ONE last thing is we always love squares of fabric for we are making a memory quit from material we have collected from around the world .. We take pictures of each piece scrapbook it with the name and location of who sent it ... then we sew it all together hopefully we can make 3 quilts and three memory books ... we are getting there slowly but surely ...

For now I think that's about all ...
