update 04/22/08 OK, I'm mostly up to date again. I've been sending out a LOT of mail this last week and am finally almost caught up. I appreciate everyone's patience and hope you will be receiving your packages soon. Again sorry about the delays with some items. Unfortunately we cannot predict those bad things that come up! If you are still waiting on something or have not received it, please let me know.

If you are waiting on a rating, please let me know that as well, I'm still going through packages from when I was gone and trying to get those updated.

I've swapped in the past and I LOVE getting mail and sending it too, of course. I really enjoy making stuff for people. It makes me happy.

Love to knit. Usually multiple projects going on. Currently working on a couple of sweaters and a scarf. Love to make knitted things for friends and family. Have 3 cats, 2 dogs and a husband.

I love art, my fave artist is Van Gogh. I love to paint and take pictures. I enjoy listening to music, watching tv, knitting while watching tv, shopping, and going to the movies.

I work a "normal" day job to pay the bills and keep me ensconced in things I love to buy. Need to pay for my habits some way! I like the company I work at and like the job I do.

Some random things I like gargoyles, like the stone, gothic things on buildings, not the cartoon. I love art deco and the fashion of the victorian era through the 40's. I do like buttons and need them for projects although I don't have many, so anyone who wants to send some... feel free! I do make some hemp knot jewelry. I like unique and interesting beads. And I love gardening and flowers.

I really enjoy most types. my favorite color is green. Especially emerald green, but I also like olive green, army green, mint green, hunter green... lots of em. My secondary colors would be purples and pinks. Sometimes I like reds and blues. And since I'm from Ohio, of course I like buckeye colors, Scarlet & Grey!

I love to cook and bake. My fave foods are yankee pot roast, mac&cheese, prime rib, yorkshire pudding. I love breads and cheese (except swiss) and I love seafood as well. Crab legs, Lobster, scallops... mmmm... but not shrimp or calamari. Oh and I LOVE Indian Food, naan and curry are like my most favorite thing ever. I love trying to pick out the different spices in things. I love to make Bento lunches because then I try to be "healthy." Usually packed with whole foods.

My gram, made the most absolute best lemon meringue pie. My fave cake has always been made by my mom for my birthday, it's a chocolate pistachio bundt cake. So yummy.

I am addicted to Coca Cola in a bad way. Because of this, I try NOT to drink it. (soooo many calories!) I also just love soda all the way around.. bubbles and fizz yum.

I am not much of a coffee drinker, but I love Tea. My favorite blend is Joy by Tazo and this Lavender tea from Zen Cha (in Columbus). I also like Green Tea and Mint teas and am always willing to try new stuff.

I just realized, I wrote about what I like and not what I dislike, soo.... I am extremely sensitive to smells. I don't like most floral smells because they are too strong and give me a headache. I'm not a huge fan of country music although I do like a few people. I don't like mushrooms or tomatoes or really HOT (spicy) foods. I'm not into the "country" thing, like decorative roosters, chickens, cows etc. Religious stuff, stickers and quotes with bible verses freak me out. Not because I'm against it, it's just a very personal thing, I feel more spiritual than religious if you get that?

Speaking of smells, I love vanilla, lavender and freesia. When it comes to lotions I like really sweet smells, like vanilla type. I also like musk scents like Amber. I love candles that smell FRESH, like the sea scents or rain scents or fresh linen. I love new recipes. I'm a very tactile person, when I shop, I have to touch like EVERYTHING. Especially in the yarn shops. I love different textures and looks.

I don't want to put anything here because this list would go on for days... seriously! I LOVE books and I LOVE movies. I go to movies constantly and could seriously take up residence in the local library. I learned to read when I was 4 and have never stopped. I guess if we are going with Genre, I really like classic english and early american lit (like all the stuff you had to read in school) and I also like crime type novels, like James Patterson, or paranormal type like John Saul. I also like historical crime novels, think Caleb Carr's the Alienist. And I like silly GIRL books like Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants type.
