😌🥴 UPDATE - March 13th, 2023😌🥴 I wanted to reach out and let you know my status…. I suffer from depression, PTSD and anxiety… usually am able to maintain self care and manage, but, unfortunately life events have set me back, I am not ashamed of my mental issue and am a huge advocate for supporting and the education of mental illness, it is a daily struggle ….. it is hard to fail on your responsibilities and fall short of the person you work so hard to be, I choose wellness and continue to recover, it is a slow process, PLEASE forgive me if I have not completed a swap, I will eventually, I understand the rating you may give - but also wanted to inform others. Accountability is important as well as aides in healing….. please know I am working on it….. I welcome any thoughts and comments if you feel the need. young. I've been "crafty" all my life. My interests are varied. I was a stay at home mom until all my children were in grade school. In order to have the same schedule as my children I became a school bus driver 🚌💨…, and 24 years later I'm still sitting in the drivers seat - Oh boy the stories I could tell! No really....... kids say the darndest things (if their parents only knew - sometimes I have to try not to bust out laughing when I see them, these little ones are so innocent - it's delightful). A fellow driver and are are the current Washington State Special Needs Rodeo champs on our way to Nationals in Texas...... I love my job and my students.

I used to teach Kindergarten before staying home with my fabulous children which was a perfect fit for me because kindergarten is education disguised in one big craft session. I have 2 living Children, Ashley-32 who blessed us with a grandson, Chelsea-30 who loves to travel and my son Joshua passed away on Sept 11, 2010 at 25, we are blessed with a lifetime of love, laughter and amazing memories of our time with him.

I love my crafts, long walks, swimming, reading, entertaining friends, ice cream cones dipped in chocolate (who doesn’t like that crunchy stuff) and random acts of kindness including random acts of art kindness…

I ....L O V E ..... paper and all paper crafts but have also been seen doing - knitting, crochet, hand lettering and of recent art classes on ZOOM. I Zentangle and recently became Certified Zentangle Teacher. But mostly I'm hooked on paper crafts. I also enjoy making my own envelopes, Zines, and Calligraphy has been a love of mine since I learned to cursive write and a beautiful oblique or pointed pen in my hand and a blank pile of paper always calls my name…..

I do want to say if for some reason you don't receive something from me please communicate and let me know. I am always willing to do a re-send...... AND if life happens to you...... please, please feel free to reach out.

I also collect playing cards, there are some beautiful, wacky and funny ones out there and some of the older ones - fabulous.... I would love any J of ❤️‘s if you have one (it's kinda a sentimental reason - in memory of my son Joshua, he was my heart.... thus the J❤️ - he was also a bit of a jokester too so Jokers are pretty darn awesome as well) it is a delightful collection...

About PC's. My favorites are the artistic kind, black& white, black & white with color accents, unusual and unique - send me something you'd like yourself and then tell me a little bit about you.. your profession, dreams, passions, what you love about your culture and I love quotes. I just love receiving them so just have fun picking it. I do enjoy handmade ones too, especially when a swap partner puts effort, time and love into it. I also send postcards through Postcrossing a wonderful and exciting community of postcard lovers around the world - check it out.....

TRULY.... I just plain love seeing the little treasure people send me hidden in all shapes and sizes of envelopes awaiting me in the mailbox..... that is in reference to the actual swap - although getting extras is a very kind gesture - please do not ever feel pressured to send extras.

I love reading and have realized I love listening to audio books while on my layovers in the bus. It’s hands free and has the added benefits of being able to do my Zentangle’s or knitting and crochet!!! I belong to a delightful book club called “Between the Covers” ... clever, right!! It so much fun, however, the selections one makes occasionally makes me wonder..... just who is this person really.... lol

I’m rather eclectic with my taste in music. Truth be told I’m usually listening to it on my school bus with my kiddos. Music heals and is a pathway for my students. It’s amazing to hear my non verbal students click to the music and clearly sing a verse or phrase..... I wish for time to stand still in those moments. They think we are the magic school bus because unknown and unseen to them, I whisper or tap my watch and a favorite song will all of a sudden change a hard or awkward moment into a “magical” one...... shhhh, mums the word!!

Well that about does it for now... thank you for forging through my profile, I'm bit of a talker and that translate to talking with my hands as well as in my writing too!!!! I love swap-botting and I feel like our swaps are like little acts of kindness toward each other and the connection one feels from them is... well... sort of magical...
