Hi my name is Tevy. I'm newly married 8months. :-)
I'm from Cambodia but born in Thailand and grew up in the state of Oregon. Came to the States with my mom, two brothers and sister and brother in-law when I was a week old. My English is better than my Cambodian. I can speak enough to communicate with family but don't read or write it (very difficult English is easier sometimes lol). Went to school here kindergarten to high school class of 1993, 2 yrs community college. I've worked in assembly electronics for 10 yrs. I worked in a craft store (Michael's) for 5 yrs. I've learned and picked up new crafts since working there. A friend from work does card swapping and showed me her collection. I loved them! She gives me tips and told me about this site so here I am! I'm excited to get crafty, creative and send/receive cards.

My favorite color is any shade of blue...you can guess what my color scheme was for my wedding...lol. It's also my husband's favorite color too but he's more the Yankees blue color (dark/navy blue) (he is a diehard Yankees fan lol I could care less about sports ;p)

I'm not a religious person...more spiritual but I have nothing against those who are religious just as long as I don't get it thrown at me that I should or shouldn't be....respect me and I will respect you...

I love Christmas...the colors, the bling, the sense of home and family not so much the religious part just the excitement and joy of being with your loved ones is what Christmas is all about to me anyways...ornaments!!!! I love ornaments anything goes...penguins, snowmen, santas, angels...but all is welcome as long as it is not religious...can say Merry Christmas I won't be offended...Happy Holidays is fine. =)

Halloween is another fave holiday for me. The one day I can dress up and be anything I want!! Lol But I love the spooky decorations and am a big fan of skull designs...more the girly kind but the creepy is ok too. I am not a fan of horror movies but I love Halloween. So I'm weird like that. Lol So "spook" me...Ha ha ha

I love anything "asian/oriental" themed especially dragons...my husband is also a big fan too we usually find fun decorations, knick knacks and pictures at The Goodwill... someone's junk is our treasure...

I love chocolate...my major downfall...sweets in general anything that is yummy goodness as long as there is no cinnamon in them...I'm allergic.Which sucks cuz I used to love eating red hots cinnamon candy but as I got older I just became allergic...breakout in horrible hives and itch like crazy!!! Sooo not fun. So no cinnamon please. Cannot stand black licorice...iiick!! Tastes awful to me anyways...no to Black Licorice as well.

I love to bake!! I'm always on the lookout for new recipes and baking for my friends and co-workers. Lately I've been adding Greek plain/honey yogurt and applesauce to my baking to keep cookies soft and moist and breads too. Also it's healthier since I cut back on the sugar and oil in the recipe. Give it it a try...I guarantee you will like it!! ^_^

Umm...can't think of anything else to tell about me but I'm sure I will update as I go... ^_^

I listen to just about anything...as long as it's got a good beat that makes me want to dance. Dance/pop and hip hop is my main music but open to all depending on my mood. ;-) my most favorite soundtrack is to my favorite movie A Walk to Remember...beautiful and upbeat music. Ok so I'm somewhat a sappy romantic kind of gal...so sue me. Lol ;-)

Love romance novels with a mystery storyline attached. Fave authors Nora Roberts, Jude Deveraux, Johanna Lindsay, Catherine Coulter, Nicholas Sparks, James Patterson, Janet Evanovich. In general I love to read. When I have time...

I love beading/jewelry making. Loom knitting hats and scarves...so I cheat! Lol ;-) Card making...newbie but I love to learn new techniques and enjoying any kind of crafts. It's fun and enjoyable! :-) Plus I like to see people I give my crafts to smile. ^_^

I'm a big fan of all CSI shows but my fave is NCIS. Recently started watching shows on USA channel...Burn Notice, Necessary Roughness, Covert Affairs and Royal Pains. Discovered a new show on ABC Once Upon A Time LOVE IT!! ^_^

I love action, drama, romantic comedies, Disney movies...I don't care for horror flicks but I love Halloween...the holiday not the movie! Lol My favorite movie is A Walk to Remember it's also in book form too so I love both. Love all Disney movies and Pixar. Have 4 and 6 yr old nephews who love those too...

My favorite color is blue. Anything with blue colors I will love! Been collecting dishes and cups that are cobalt clear...anything like that would be lovely. ^_^

Beads--I make jewelery and use on my cards and various crafts. Any and all kinds are welcome!!

Not fond of NEON colors--Bright Vibrant colors I like but not NEON/Fluorescent unless it's a flashback 80's themed card or something to that effect that's ok

Not a big fan of gold coloring especially in jewelry -- prefer silver. Ok if used as accent on cards or crafts as long as it's not all gold Also allergic to non real silver or gold jewelry--needs to be hypoallergenic or nickel free or copper based

I'm sure there are other things I don't like but these are the main ones for now...

Ok I'm a reasonable and very generous and kind person but nothing irritates me more when I get assigned a partner to a swap and I take the time and effort to make and put together a pretty package and send it (1) I don't get a rating when received (2) I don't get a response to several pm's to figure out what's happened (3) They all of sudden delete their account!!!
