If possible, PLEASE use interesting stamps on your mail to me and don't overlap them. Thanks! :)
I attended medical school until I got pregnant with my first son in February 2004 (which was planned). I was only going to take a 1 year leave of absence but then couldn't bring myself to leave my son and go back. I worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for many years after that (until AI eliminated those jobs). I now work at the Goodwill corporate office. I love our mission and being able to help people everyday. I lived in Maine nearly my whole life (except for the years I was in college and the year my husband was stationed in Texas) until moving to beautiful Southwestern Florida in 2008. I love the warm weather, palm trees and beautiful beaches, but do miss skiing and seeing snow on Christmas. My favorite temperature is a dry 90 degree Texas evening. I wear a size 11 shoe, 12 pants and L tops (but shirts need to be long, as I am almost 6' tall.)
My hobbies are reading, crafts, puzzles, playing games on my iPad (esp. Match Factory, Covet, Hay Day, the Sims, etc.), swimming, biking, kayaking, geocaching, hiking at state parks, and collecting. I collect pressed pennies, stamps, postcards, kawaii stickers/stationary, trading cards, used phone cards and gift cards.
I love using essential oils and tea as medicine. I make a lot of my own teas from herbs I grew but also love Traditional Medicinals. I drink matcha almost every morning. I love being in nature and seeing the beauty of it all around me. I also love to travel. I have been to 29/50 US states, Canada, Germany and Russia. I have always dreamed of living abroad for a year. I was raised Catholic and this is a very important part of my life. I LOVE inspirational quotes, bible verses, cherry blossoms, anything Asian, USA/patriotic, Tim Holtz, hearts, sweets (cupcakes, donuts, etc.) kittens and the color PINK! :) I HATE Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, ALL Tim Burton films, owls, skulls, snakes, clowns, Goth, and anything strange, morbid or grotesque.
Pets: I am a bit of a bleeding heart when it comes to pets needing to be adopted. I currently have 2 cats, a rabbit and a bird. I love cats most of all.
KAWAII: I love Sanrio/San-X/Q-Lia/Mindwave/Kamio Japan. My favorites are Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Chococat, Little Twin Stars, Mamegoma, Clover Town, Sakura, ANY of the sweets/food with faces (especially the ones with real photos of food. This is my #1 love.) and in general I like most cats and bears. I do NOT like Sentimental Circus or skulls. My favorite kawaii items are letter sets, envelopes, stickers (especially plexiglass flakes), memos of all sizes (especially die-cut!), deco tape, Iwako erasers (new only), mechanical pencils (used is fine), unsharpened wooden pencils, and stackable drawers. NO sticky notes, please.
For swaps involving sticker flakes: I would greatly appreciate receiving the complete set from the sack, instead of a bunch of loose random ones, as it is easier to add to my album this way. The same goes for memo sheets, as well.
Stamps: I prefer commemorative stamps that were issued within the last 10 years. I collect stamps from all countries but prefer USA, Finland and Japan. I also like ones from the UK, Germany, Canada, Israel, and Australia. My favorite stamps are ones that are colorful, look like a photo of a place or are of a popular cartoon character. I do not like canceled to order (CTO) stamps or vintage. I collect used stamps, first day covers, new plate blocks and mini souvenir sheets. I prefer used stamps on paper with the whole postmark. I started a stamp blog to show off the stamps I receive on my mail. You can see it here: my stamp collection and my stamp wishlist
My favorite types of postcards are:

I dislike old looking, black & white, and strange postcards. Please no VINTAGE or stained/damaged postcards and no Zazzle. They are not even correct postcard size.
If you are an artist or photographer, a nicely done homemade postcard is appreciated. I also love used postage stamp collage and kawaii deco tape postcards.
Here are the ones I already have: My USA postcard collection AND My INTERNATIONAL postcard collection ALSO My FOOD postcard collection AND My ART postcard collection
Danielle Steel, Nicholas Sparks, Jenna Petersen, Heather Gudenkauf, Philippa Gregory, Beverly Lewis, John Paul Thomas, romance novels, especially historical (1800's) romance, and anything on Asian culture and paper crafts. I'm very intrigued by the 1800's when life was simple, proper and so many things were secret and taboo.
I do not like anything involving horror. I'm also not a fan of science fiction or fantasy.
I love magazines. My favorites are travel, crafts, cooking, and naturopathic/healthy living. I would be happy to receive any of these types of magazines. They do not need to be new or recent issues.
My Goodreads Profile *The books on my Want To Read shelf are books that I own that I have not read yet.
Transformers, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pearl Harbor, Memoirs of a Geisha, Armageddon, Cars, Toy Story, Kung Fu Panda, 10 Things I Hate About You, Titanic, Cutting Edge, Dirty Dancing, and Jeff Foxworthy: Totally Committed. (Of course, I already own all these DVDs.) I don't watch much TV.
I listen to Christian music most often and my current favorite is Genavieve Linkowski. I also like Kelly Clarkson, The Eagles, Van Halen (with Sammy Hagar), Blessid Union of Souls, the Goo-Goo Dolls, P!nk, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, 80s rock and country music.
I love to paint, knit, make earrings, hair accessories, magnets, wax seals, counted cross stitch, diamond art, plastic canvas, scrapbooking, notecard/tag/envelope making and other paper crafts. I love paper crafts in general and could never have enough paper! I also love making matchboxes, ATCs and inches. My favorite technique right now is napkin decoupage. I got a Cricut Joy for my birthday and making cards, tags and stickers on it is my newest obsession. I also love embossing and making die-cuts on my Sizzix.
My 20 year old (Ethan) loves watching Anime, playing the guitar, violin and keyboard, reading books, and playing video games. He is a 2nd year industrial engineering major at Florida State University. He wants to move to Japan after graduating from college with his master’s degree.
My 18 year old (Evan) loves football, weightlifting and wrestling. He has committed to play football at Ave Maria University and major in exercise physiology. He has been playing football for 11 years. He was his high school’s team captain and defensive MVP. He also was a State Qualifier for wrestling and weightlifting. Sports is the most important thing in his life but he is also very interested in health & nutrition. He enjoys playing video games in his free time and posting videos on TikTok.
My husband of 21 years, David, is a disabled Army veteran and biomedical equipment technician. He used to love spending time at the off-grid cabin in the woods that we built together (until it was destroyed by Hurricane Debby), shooting guns, fishing and coaching football. He collects anything with deer on it.

WW OCT-I am looking through this now. Ghosts, cats, bats, birds die cuts are SOOOO cute! Oh my gosh, i love the colorful butterflies, elephants and deer. The mini cards are adorable. How thoughtful to make things you know I’d appreciate. Oh, a hot air balloon collaboration pc!! Sweet. I will work on it. Thank you! 😊
Thank you for the lovely note for my WW Oct wish. So weird that your Sept came with the Oct! I enjoyed reading your note. I lived in Florida for 22 years before moving back home to Maine. I don't even want to visit Florida except to maybe go to my favorite restaurant.
Wow! I love the pocket letter you sent to me for my WW Sept wish. I think it traveled around for awhile to visit the states. 😊
WW SEP-Thank you for the Handmade halloween pc. Your tour in St. Augustine, FL sounds fun!!
Thank you for the postcard for September’s WW! I will replying soon!
Thanks so much for the awesome Halloween card and stickers you made for me with your Cricut, as well as your lovely letter and the vintage motel PC. It was such a nice surprise to find in my PO Box. I really enjoyed your letter a great deal. I'm a very chatty letter writer, too. I loved hearing about Goodwill since that organization is very special to me. I really appreciate you taking the time to write to me as well as making me all the Halloween goodies! (September WW)
Thank you so much for the postcard! WW Sept. I very much enjoyed reading your profile. We have several things in common. Our Kawaii favorites are the same 😁
