I grew up in Florida, moved to Tennessee and am now back in the sunshine state. For now.

I have worked with dogs for the better part of a decade and wouldn't know what to do with myself if I didn't.

I have been artsy-crafty all my life.

I have been adopted by a cat so please don't be offended by a stray hair or 12. Did I mention that I work with dogs. I do my best to make sure that everything is as hair free as possible.

Since I grew up in the 80's you can guess what my favorite kind of music is. I do listen to almost anything. I was raised by a couple of reformed hippies so band like The Who, The Beatles, Led Zeplin, Bob Marley and so on, etc. Were always playing, on vinyl, at any time on the weekends.

I love all things yarn. I started to crochet a few years ago and haven't stopped. I love all things crochet. I am learning how to do broomstick lace at the moment and can't wait to make my first hat with that stitch.

I have been painting on everything I am allowed to since I can remember. I love to make painted ornaments for Christmas.

I just started making jewelry and am getting better at it. It's very cathartic to beat a piece of metal on an anvil.

My grandfather collected owls for years. When both of my grandparents passed, I got a picture that I had loved for years. It's a pair of barn owls done in water colors. That's what started - at the time - my collection. Now its really an obsession. Only cause they are everywhere and its like the universe is telling me to bring them all home.

Pink has been my color longer than owls have been my obsession. Any color pink. Everywhere - I even had hot pink hair at one time, the boss didn't like it so I hid it.

There is not a whole lot out there that I don't like in one way or another. Even clowns. I like them. Not many do. Strange.
