I shopuld rate a 3 here but I went through all 100+ of your previous ratings and it doesn't seem like you're a habitual late sender so I am giving you the benefit of a doubt even though you didn't have the curteousy to contact me about it or to include a quick note in the envelope saying you were sorry for being late that just stuff came up in life or whatnot. Communication is key, the next person may not be as understanding as me.

However, the swap description said: "...on the back of your atc, along with your usual information, write a paragraph or maybe two (?) of what you see in your ink blot...not a list, but sort of a 'story' or description of what is happening in your "blot picture". Nothing long or elaborate, but just not a 'list'." While you said in your accompanying notecard that the blot reminded you of Ludo from the Labyrinth, a movie you always loved, there was no "story" of any kind on the back ATC. It seems to me that the paint blot in conjunction with the accompanying story on the back are what make this swap -and this ATC - unique. A little friendly advice: before packaging up a swap to mail, it might be a good idea to re-read the swap description one last time to make sure you haven't forgotten anything. I do this and have caught myself more then once about to send an incomplete - and once, a totally wrong - swap. lol It happens. (";)

Comment: I may have misunderstood the intention of this swap, but I was expecting a package with a bunch of little items to introduce me to your obsesssion. Instead you sent one book and a half page letter. I am open to trying new things so I am looking forward to reading the book. I am not disappointed in your obsession itself, but I can't say that you really followed the spirit of the swap. To me, a 6X9 package 'stuffed with anything you think could help turn your partner into a fan' doesn't mean one MMPB book. I am disappointed with the swap even though your obsession seems like a neat one. I wish you would have included other things to introduce the author, such as a bookmark or a printout of the author's biography. These would have been inexpensive or even free and would have made the package more true to the swap guidelines.
