I also love bold colors for the most part, but I'm OK with softer colors in the right time and place. You did an excellent job pulling all the materials together to make a cohesive package especially considering that I think what you were sent was more of a 60's vibe than a retro one. This was an especially challenging swap for me, both the making of the kit and the using the kit to make an art piece with the given theme.
