Response: I’m sorry about sending you a card with a gnome on it. I’m in several Christmas card swaps as well as sending cards to the elderly in nursing facilities in my area. I bought several packs of cards to write out and that one just came up. Sorry if it offended you. It wasn’t intentional
Response: Walmart had them!
Response: Yes, it was my first attempt at one! Lol!
Response: Thank you for the handwriting compliments! It's good to know that someone recognizes it! Lol! My ESP told me that your husband would like that scooter postcard! :)
Response: You know, I realized that after I mailed the card. I'm so used to calling my husband that, I guess it just came out naturally. I apologize for that. Even though it's after the fact, the name I should have put down was "Attaboy!" Don't get old! Lol!
Response: Good luck with your cataract surgery! I had cornea surgery a few years back, as well as cataract surgery, so we are kindred spirits! Hope everything goes well for you!
Response: I think I'm kind of obsessed! Lol!
Response: That postcard is from a time when the Towers still stood. I actually bought it at the 911 Memorial Museum in NYC
Response: The presidents I've met are: Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush (the father), Barack Obama and Joe Biden
Response: Absolutely! Sent you a message!
Response: Yes they did. When Barnabas came on, he became the main focus of the show and Vicki was pushed more or less into the background.
Response: Almost done! Of course I just bought a few more books, so need to push and stretch a few more of the shelves!
Response: Wow! That took a long time! We never know when we mail our letters and swaps where they go before finding their way to the person intended!
Response: I'm sorry you didn't receive this, but it very well may show up. I just received a postcard that was mailed at the end of December
Response: I’m glad you liked it and thank you so much for the birthday wishes!
Response: Thank you so much!
Response: If you don't receive this, please message me and I would be happy to resend. Mail is crazy now!
Response: I only keep ones that are new and have no writing on. My two younger kids worked for the airlines a few years ago and traveled all over the world. They always brought me postcards of the most interesting places such as Easter Island and Machu Picchu.
Response: I ordered them from a company called Colorful Images. They have so many great labels to choose from. You can probably google them and request a catalog or just browse on their site. They have alot of Snoopy labels!
Response: Yes! I’ve been to Salem a few times and just love it there! The Witches Museum is always a big draw!
Response: I love those tea bags too! They are just so unique and a tribute to a legendary author!
Response: Thank you for the great rating! I get my stickers at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby.
Response: Thank you for the kind words! No, I don’t use a ruler to write. I went to a Catholic school and the nuns were very strict about you developing good penmanship! The 5 presidents I’ve met were Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush ( the father), Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama.
We saw the Space Shuttle Discovery land on its final mission in January of 2018 in Florida. It was so amazing and historical!
Response: So sorry! It was one of those days! I guess 2 is better than none! 😃😃😃
Response: I just received my reserved copy of Apples Never Fall from the library and am on Chapter 8. I love this author as she always has a few surprises up her sleeve!
Response: I will resend! Probably got lost in the holiday mail. Appreciate the rating.
Response: Forgive my overnight! Over eager I guess!!
Response: Having just played 15 rounds of Go Fish with my 5 year old grandson, I can relate!
Response: My face video games are the Wizaed of Oz Match 3 game, Match 3D Puzzle, Jeopardy and any hidden object games. The dog is our Great Dane/Boxer. She is 9 years old and her name is Macy.
Response: Our post office is operating on a limited schedule and everyone's mail is running behind because so many postal workers are calling off because of covid. I apologize if the card arrived late. My son in Indiana still hasn't received a card I sent him 10 days ago.
Response: Mail is running very late in our area due to postal workers having covid. Sorry the swap arrived late
Response: Sorry to hear that!
Response: Our post office is very small and they have been known to miss postcards in the mailbox. I apologize if this arrived late.
Response: I'm so glad you liked what I sent! I love Currents products!
Response: I actually ordered those. I thought they really fit what is going on around us now.
Response: I'm confused now too! Lol! If it has just one stamp it's the original. If it has 3 or 4 stamps it's the resend!
Response: I went to Catholic school and the nuns insisted you write straight! I was so scared of them that I made it my life long goal to always write even and straight! Lol!
Response: Did you ever get really hard up for an answer in this game? Lol!
Response: No worries. Thank you for taking the time to rate! Better late than never!
Response: The drive up to Mount Rushmore was beautiful! We saw so much wildlife including a ram which was literally next to our car! You would love Salem!
Response: I'm glad you liked everything! I always enjoy doing these kinds of swaps! Thank you for the compliment on my handwriting!
Response: I have met Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. Bush (the father), Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Very memorable experiences!
Response: I simply do not understand why you would rate a 3 for this. With the whole Covid19 pandemic going on and people living with intense restrictions, why is a mailing date so important? Here in Pennsylvania we are still under very strict guidelines and I have been working around our local post offices reduced hours and once a day mail pickups. My family had a one time window opportunity to visit with our son in Indiana and our little granddaughter that we haven't seen in months. I didn't have the time to send out swaps. This was one of those times where family came first. I'm sorry you felt the need to rate me a 3 for that when my other partners were supportive and understanding. With one click of a button you took away my good rating that I worked very hard for. Go through my ratings and you will see that I am a responsible and quality swapper. I am asking you to consider changing your rating. I feel I did my best on this swap. I never rate people down over a mailing date..especially these last few months. Everyone has a reason for what they do and it isn't always intentional or wrong. I also feel giving a low rating when people are giving their all just takes the fun out of a hobby..especially one that has provided so much distraction and freedom during a very dark time. I hope you reconsider.
I don't consider what I wrote yelling...it's frustration. And to follow what you said a simple PM to me before rating down would have given me a chance to explain more in detail. Rules can always be adjusted in circumstances. I was a day late..one day, not a week. My post office picks up every other day. I am just extremely disappointed in your rating. We all have the right to defend ourselves and unfortunately I will be the one paying the price for your low rating.
Response: I did and she loved it Neal!
Response: My son and daughter did! I travel alot through them! 😆
Response: You're very kind, thank you!
Response: Thank you Selene! What can I say...I'm a book geek! 😆
Response: Sorry about the zip code. An oversight on my part.
Response: Thank you for being so gracious Karen!
Response: What a nice compliment! Thank you!
Response: I am glad you liked everything! I ordered the address labels from a company called Colorful Images. They have other designs in that style too.
Response: And I told you in that message that I was late in contacting you because I was sick. When you have a 103 fever and ate literally unable to function the last thing you worry about is Swapbot. My other two partners were totally understanding of this but as soon as I contacted you you immediately informed me you were already going to rate me a 3. Thank you for punishing me for being sicker than I've been in years, bringing down my hard earned ratings and basically taking the fun out of Swap Bot...all over a mailing date. This is extremely upsetting to me.
Response: Thank goodness! I got a few gray hairs over this one but am so thankful it found its right home!
Response: Sure! That would be great!
Response: That's funny! I had a cocker spaniel, Yogi, who loved tomatoes as well!
Response: Do you think there's a support group for stationery-aholics??
Response: She is doing wonderful, thanks so much for asking!
Response: I tried to appeal to you during a difficult time in my life. Apparently ratings are more important than life's occurrences. This is one reason why Swap Bot is losing it's fun for so many people. I don't set out to lie to people as you can tell from my ratings. I'm honest and try to honor all the swaps I do. I try to send the best of myself, but some people are more understanding than others. I always try to give someone the benefit of the doubt, but it is discouraging when others look for dates rather than explanations. I will sometimes mark something mailed when I intend to send it that day. If something happens then obviously it won't go out. No bad intentions...just things happening in my very busy life.
Response: Thank you so much for the correction on this swap melissa. I truly appreciate the great communication and quick response. Thank you again!
Response: Thank you for letting me know! My brain got away from me on this one! Lol!
Response: If you want to, I would be more than happy to read your answers. It's not a requirement of the swap however.
Response: I am so relieved that it arrived safely! Glad you liked everything. I had fun putting it together!
Response: This being late was entirely the postal systems fault. Our area suffered severe flooding last week (it actually was the headlines on all 3 national networks). Many roads were closed and the mail was obviously delayed. I, myself did not receive mail for 2 days. This area was actually declared a state of emergency by the Governor.
Response: Thank you Candace...I'm getting there!
Response: Thank you for the rating, but I haven't mailed my envelopes out for this swap yet. They will be going out in the morning. Perhaps you have me mixed up with someone else!
Response: Yes we did!! Couldn't leave without doing that! Lol!
Response: I actually had the flu and had to push myself to do small things. Was not on Swap Bot because at times like that you concentrate on getting yourself healthy, especially when you are a diabetic. Most people will rate a 3 only after there's been some sort of explanation, but it seems dates are more important. I am disappointed in your rating. You can have 500 hearts but most people will only zero in on that 3 rating. I have worked so hard to keep my ratings up but you did what you thought was best.
Response: I have to say, I am really disappointed in the 3 rating. It was given without even consulting me for an explanation, and as you can see by my other ratings, I always try my best on swaps. I had the flu and fell behind, but didn't think it would be a huge problem. I always try to accomodate someone without giving them a bad rating. Life happens and it seems mailing dates matter more to some than others.
Response: That book is the first in a series of three and I absolutely loved it! Great story that keeps you guessing right up until the last page!
Response: I am terribly sorry about this! It was not intentional and I will make sure I send it along to you immediately. We had a tragic death in our family in August and I have not been thinking right since. Again...I will make this right.
Response: Appreciate your understanding and I am sorry to hear of your troubles. Take care.
Response: I would love if you wrote back! That would be awesome! Yes, I'm a bit partial to Halloween! Lol!
Response: The Nativity on that card is from my church. We had postcards made of it to send to our homebound and nursing home residents so they would not feel left out! Happy New Year!
Response: Looking forward to hearing from you!
Response: I'm so glad you like the items. I must confess..I liked them so much, I bought myself the same thing! LOL!
Response: I would love to keep in touch as well! Feel free to write! I will answer! :)
Response: Whenever you can send it back is perfectly fine!
Response: Thank you Brooke...I very much appreciate your rating.
Response: I didn't "just so happen" to find the letter. When you said you had not received the letter, I was surprised. I knew I had wrote and thought that I had sent it. I began looking through my desk at work and at home and did discover the letter with some file folders in my car. It must have slid under. Mistakes happen and I'm sorry that you felt you had to rate a three. I always try my best on swaps as you can see by my years worth of good ratings. Unfortunately now, most people will not see the good ratings; they will only zero in on the one bad one.
Response: Again...my reasons for sending late were because my son was ill. We were away from home for almost two weeks while he recovered. As soon as I returned, I honored all my swaps knowing they would be late. This was simply one of those times in life when you choose family over hobbies.
Response: In my defense, the reason it took me a week to contact you was because that is when my son's emergency took place. I was with him and not on Swap Bot. I admit to being distracted because of his illness and will accept your 3. If you look at my whole record on Swap Bot, you will see that I have always honored my swaps and been on time. The time frame you and another person gave me a 3 rating is when I was going through a hardship. I won't apologize for being a mother and placing my son's needs first. I'm sorry you weren't happy with the swap.
Response: Again...my reasons were personal and related to an emergency in my family. I couldn't contact anyone because at the time my priorities were centered on my son.
Response: My late swaps are due to my son's unexpected illness so I will take the heat for this swap. It shows how distracted I was. I pride myself on my good record here on Swap bot but a mother will always place her child first. I apologize for this swap
Response: Thank you for the kind words and review...and heart! I enjoyed writing the letter and would love to hear back from you!
Response: Thank you! I am looking forward to it!
Response: I am glad that the package arrived safely and that you like everything! I had fun picking the candy out. I guess there's enough there to share with the kids! Enjoy!
Response: I'm glad you liked it!
Response: Thanks Ilyse and thanks for being such a good partner! It's ironic how we always end up together! LOL!~
Response: Thanks! I'm glad it arrived safely! I had a good time writing it once I got started!
Response: Yes, I did send late and my reason is my car died at three in the morning and had to be towed to a garage where it still is waiting to be fixed. We are now operating on one vehicle with three people going to work in three different locations. I could not get to the post office by the official due date, but did the best I could. If you want to change the rating to a three, feel free to do so. I did my best and have always tried to send things when they are do. However, every once in awhile, things happen that we simply cannot control.
Response: Thanks for the great rating! I just love sharing books with people I know will appreciate them as much as I do!
